Admission to PHS is selective. We're looking for people who are serious about building a career as a professional horseman and who bring honesty and integrity to everything they do.

As you apply, just be real with us. Don't oversell yourself; show us who you actually are and where your horsemanship is today. We accept the students we believe are most likely to complete the program, graduate, and build a successful career in the horse industry.

How soon will I receive an answer regarding my application?

Once you've completed all three parts of your application, we review it and follow up within 7 days. If we see a strong fit, we'll invite you to an interview to talk through the program and your next steps.

What are the next steps after I submit my application?

Your application has three parts. After you start it here, we'll email you the final two: a short video answering a few questions about you, and a video of you working with a horse. Once all three are in, we review your application and if it's a strong fit, we'll invite you to an interview.

If I am not accepted, can I apply again later?

Absolutely. If the timing isn't right this round, you're welcome to reapply when you're ready. A "not yet" is never a permanent "no."

If I am accepted, how soon do I have to make my commitment to the PHS?

If you're applying, we expect you're serious about attending if accepted. After acceptance, you'll confirm your commitment by signing your enrollment agreement and making your initial tuition payment.
